For the guys with adsense. (or lets say your friend Bob who has a site).

Do you guys ever click on an ad on your site, from a friends PC, from the library etc? Seems like everyone would be doing it, but I don't see it often?

if you're going to do this, just make sure you never log into your adsense account to check your earnings, from that computer...

if you are doing that you aren't making any money obviously. I don't have time to go click for 30 cents at a time. I focus on building traffic so that 100 people click for every minute you would have wasted clicking your own.

PS. I advertise on the content network so fuck you if you are doing clickfraud.

Clicking on your own ads is like stealing.
It can also get you banned for life.
Two good reasons NOT to click on your own ads.

I did once or twice back when I first started, but now I've learned that it's dumb to do.

I've accidentally clicked on mine every once in a while when editing and such. Usually because of a slow load lol. Will be a lot less easy to do that with the adsense click areas being changed to only the links.

It's sad, usually the first thing you see when some noobs get their adsense account is how to click their ads and make more. Then a few months later you see all the same noobs asking how to get their account unbanned once they realized what they have actually done. Or asking what the best google replacement is lol. Google isn't the only way to make money but it's definitely one of the easiest and most universal. Not worth a few cents here and there by clicking your own ads.

Now buying your own affiliate products to get discounts...lol
