I've used stuff that I had such a bad reaction too that it gave me indigestion from skin contact. I use all non-toxic stuff now and I don't have problems. If I'm forced to clean a really dirty firearm with something heavier duty I'll wear nitrile.

Eah, I wear gloves when I remember to, but I generally use non toxic shit like M Pro 7 or slip 2000. They work better as lube (less runny than CLP) anyway.

I don't forget gloves when using hoppes 9, but I barely do. Break free foaming bore cleaner is easier to use.

Given that u know people who've actually gotten tested for lead exposure and were on the cusp of irreversible damage just through rifle league and reloading, I err on the side of caution.

Not like there are bar sluts in my garage judging me when I clean my guns :)

i usually do because i have an endless supply of latex gloves from work, so ill snatch a box here and there and take them home. but i tend to wear gloves when working with anything dirty just for the mere fact that i hate having to scrub my hands to get grease and what not off. plus its easier to just change to a new pair of gloves if they get really dirty, preventing me from spreading dirt of grease on to other objects.

Usually, a little extra protection for me (not just from the solvent but from the stuff I'm cleaning out like lead) and it makes cleanup easier.

If I have to do a murder or something, I don't want there to be any evidence.

 Acting like fingerprints are going to be on a bullet after its gonna out of a barrel at a couple hundred degrees and into a person and hopefully your carrying hollow points or frangible and which case it will be zero in hell of them finding a rifling pattern and could even use poloygonial rifling to make it even harder.

Were talking about the casings dumbass :ugh: Jesus chrsit need to lay off the CSI

CSI man they can take a bullet from 200 pieces recreate it, the rifling the exact model of gun, the exact tempature outside, and whether or not the guy was getting his dick sucked at the time same time. Sometimes it can even tell them the exact name
