I just found out that the flys - got you (where i want you) instantly brings me back to my gf from 2 years ago, we're in my bed, i'm all up in her while we're both laughing and going at it. Those were good times.

like there were many songs from the 6 years that were together but when the flys turn on its like a time machine. btw im over this chick so its kind of funny to be reminded of the good times i had with her.

Songs and smells are very powerful triggers.

Sigur Ros - Svefn G Englar; was listening to it a lot on repeat on my mp3 player around the time I met my ex a few years ago, and those first few days were among the happiest in my life. Now every time I hear it it makes me :wtc:

To many to list. I associate many points in my life with different songs and types of music.

White Queen by Queen. I used to drive 2 hours one way, three times a week to see my ex. When I'd arrive close to her town I'd always put that song on. It seemed to go really well with my good mood and the landscape I'd be driving through. Every time I hear it I still think of her and what we could have had together if we had both been in a better frame of mind at the time we were dating...that and her sleeping around didnt help either :madfawk:

:werd: I can't drive to the song "Wild One" by Faith Hill; simply because it's the song that was on the radio when I had the one accident I had (some guy backed out of his driveway in front of me, totalling the van I was driving). I always end up tensing up and hitting the brakes, expecting someone to back infront of me :hsugh:

I have a ton of songs that automatically remind me of people, places, and events. Music is one of the most powerful pathways to the soul, so it really drives home with certain things

Anytime I hear Semi-Charmed Life I instantly think of the ex, and anytime I hear The Background I get all emo about it. :wtc:
