I was just wondering do they had a wireless networking memory card reader. My network printer has a memory card reader but its in another room. Is there such a stand alone card reader that would be able to transfer files from the card to my wireless laptop

I have a laptop. I have having to hunt the usb cord down to download pics. I would rather have a memory card reader that goes though my wireless network. if there is such a thing

I have a Sandisk card reader with a cradle. Since it sounds like you dont plan on taking the card reader anywhere it wont be much of a hunt for the cable if its always sitting on your desk.

And no, I've never heard of wifi card reader.

I use a pcmcia memory card reader in my laptop, maybe you could get one of those? It was ~$16.
