Do people seriously not realize the auto industry bailout is a LOAN?

    and NOT just a handout? The big 3 auto makers must pay that money back over the next few decades or so. The reason they're going to the government to ask for this money is because the government is the only entity that's able to make a multi billion dollar loan.

    Fuck GM, Ford and Chrysler. Let them go under. Then we'd have more reliable and fuel efficient cars on the road, even if we have to pay more for them.

    Ford has more fuel economic vehicles than Toyota. Most people can't afford a prius.
