I just found out the hard way, my range I usually go to does not allow steel core ammo.
I have 440rds that I cant use till I find another range that does.

Anyone know any ranges in DFW area that allow it :wtc:

Most indoor ranges wont allow it, the outdoor range I goes to allows whatever ammo you want to use steel core, ap, tracers dont matter.

If you're just shooting into a hill, most places don't care.

None of the indoor ranges in my area allow it, but the two big outdoor ranges don't care.

What about driving out of the city and just finding a good backstop?
I haven't been to an actual range in a long time.

Why would a range ban Wolf?

my indoor range doesn't allow aluminum or steel casings as their brass recycling vendor doesn't like it (can't be reloaded) I believe wolf usually falls under this catagory.

possibly that, plus the fumes from the nasty powder they use would burn all the shooters eyes out
