I'm in a watch rotation year round so unless I'm on leave or I just happen to be off, no.

My the husband... They have weekend duty.. whoever has weekend duty at the time of the holiday they have to work through the holiday.

For Christmas and Thanksgiving.. You work one or the other. usally never both.

While the husband was deployed. He had to work through all holidays.

A friend of mine got a monday off to watch the superbowl since they were 15 hours ahead of Houston time. That sounded promising :)
