I have an EZcurl bar but it hurts my wrists so I just started using a straight barbell :hs:

Should I get a couple of wrist braces and man up or can I just use the barbell instead? :o

Also, since I'm using the barbell, is there any point to doing alternating dumbbell curls? :dunno:

I don't know your answer. But I do preacher curls with a barbell, then do alternating DB curls after that.

I do standing barbell curls, seated dumbbell curls, and close grip press for biceps. I find that the close grip press fucking kills my arms, it's great.

I accidently put that in along with the other two, my bad. But you know what I meant. I do really find my arms worn out after I do it though, even though it's primarily for triceps

The different gips on the ezcurl bar hit the inner/outter heads on your bicep. If your wrists hurt you probably doing something funky, and yes wrist wraps might help.

And DB curls kick ass and are good for building bicep mass, go heavy and squeeze at the peak.

    P.S. do hammer curls too.

Yesterday I did straight bar bicep curls, alternating DB curls, and Hammer curls :)
