Was browsing partsxpress earlier because of the BR1 speaker kit thread earlier, saw this amp and was wondering how good of quality it is for a diy project. I got a spare 8-ohm sub (12" orion xtr dvc, series to 8-ohm :o ) laying around, looks like it'd pair up to this amp pretty good. Just wanted to know if any of you guys had any experience or had heard anything about it...

    :bigthumb:

Lol, I have that same amplifier too! Yes, it is very nice, well worth the money. I will eventually upgrade mine, but only because I need 1kW+ of power. For the sub you want to power it is a great deal, and will work great.

Are you going to get the BR1? Its really a good speaker!

    Good deal

I'll probably get the BR1's as well, havn't done a home DIY project but done plenty of car audio. Figure it shouldn't be too much to handle :)
