I got through editing some of my pictures of our huge snow in Charlotte. I know its not much by any means, but when this city even hears the word snow, they shut down and the stores are out of milk and bread. Here is a little gallery that I posted for friends and family - All the kids are mine except the Hispanic kid - he belongs to the neighbor. The picture of my daughter takes you to the gallery. :noes:

All images were shot mostly with my D300 paired with my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 or my Tokina 12-24 f/4

Really nice shots, though the b&w of the stairs is a bit busy... judging by the patio furniture you got ~3"? That's more snow than we've had here in wisconsin since december.

We got closer to 5-6" by the time it was all done - that pic was taken earlier on in the evening. The bw of the "stairs" is actually a old fold up wooden chair. The textures looked cool with the snow on it - I still am on the fence with that one. :sad2: I just posted it for fun.

My mom emailed me that morning to tell me about all the snow (she lives/works in moorseville) it cracks me up when she shows me some pics of the snow that shuts everything down...

it was interesting, but so busy that (obviously) it was a touch confusing.

We're expecting a real billy badass of a snowstorm tonight/tomorrow up here in northwestern WI. they're talking 1-3" per hour. If it actually happens, and this monster lake doesn't gobble it up, and spit out a flurry, then i'm gonna get my ass out in it to catch the shots that i missed last time we got a good snowfall :coold::x:
