I enjoy using my iPhone, but the thing that pisses me off the most is not having a real keyboard. I use my phone mostly for textmessaging/internet/checking emails. The apps on the iphone were cool and all, but i just never found myself using them. I know a blackberry will work well, but since i've been out of the market for so long i dont know what else to look at. i hear the motorola cliq is supposed to be a pretty sick phone.

im 18 and in college if that helps

    any assistance would be great

The Droid seems like it would fit you well from what I've seen but it's on Verizon.

    Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.0.1; en-us; Droid Build/ESD56) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)

If you don't mind switching carriers, then I would suggest a Droid.

i have an iPhone 3GS and have had a 3G and 2G, so clearly i am partial to them. if i couldn't have my iPhone i would either have a droid or a blackberry bold. do not get a storm or palm pre, you will be angry and looking again shortly if you go with either of those.

The Iphone keyboard took a bit to get used to, but I prefer it now to any other phone I've had - the Samsung i-760 had a great keyboard, too!

But I did look at the droid at best buy - is the keyboard easy enough to get used to? I wasn't particularly impressed with it while trying to type some words in a fake text message.

I have a BB Bold through t-mo and I love it. Took a little getting used to the Bold keypad vs the Curve keypad but I still love it. If you want a full keypad that you can text with I would recommend BB. You wont regret the switch I promise!

If I hadn't just gotten my 3GS, I would have been getting a Moto Droid. Frankly I really like the 3GS -- lack of a physical keyboard doesn't bother me as much as I thought it might.

The nexus one would be a good choice but you said you wanted a keyboard and I don't think the nexus has a hard keyboard. I have the G1 and love it but would drop it for the nexus. Only thing is I have only had the G1 a year and can't see the point in unloading this phone just yet. I looked at the Cliq and it looked pretty cool to me.
