It will be interesting to see if [SIZE=-1]Shia LaBeouf can pull off his first adult role after being a Nick/Disney boy for so long.

I enjoyed it. He's as good as an actor as anyone in his age bracket.

So you think it's worth the $9.25 to see it in the theater? I might see it this weekend.

Personally I don't think anything is worth paying that much to see, I could rent like 3 movies for that price. Love the second run theater- it's about three weeks behind but a third of the price.

Has anyone else noticed that the recently released Disturbia seems to be a blatant ripoff of Hitchcock's Rear Window (1954)?

For those of you who haven't seen it, Rear Window is about a photographer with a broken leg. Confined to his wheelchair he spies on his neighbours from his window using his camera, becoming convinced one of them has commited murder.

Now for Disturbia...A teenager under house arrest and confined to his house spies on his neighbours from his window using binoculars, and what do you know - becomes convinced one of them has commited murder.

To make things worse, even the movie poster is strangely similar to that of a De Niro film 'The Fan' (See For Yourself)!

what's what i thought when I watched the trailers.

the plots are a bit similar, but the films are pretty different.
