Ok Im a fatty losing weight...30 pounds in 11 weeks. Yes I am still heavy 224 6'1 and I realize losing more weight will help shrink my beer , pizza, junk food gut. But are there specific exercises that can effectively target my waist?

I was reading about STOMACH VACUUMS? What is everyones opinion?

I realize that....I have been using the stickies and watching my macros's plus doing cardio at least 3 times a week. I am aware you cant spot reduce but I guess my question is ....I have been heavy for a while and always even when thin had a tire...... Anyway to shrink the waist??

My pace has been slow and steady and I am getting use to my new lifestyle eating habits. I havent had a cheat meal in 3 weeks....and not becuase Im depriving myself, just because the reward isnt there any more :dunno:

Well I just started lifting this week...so my new routine will look like this:

3 Days lifting / 20 minutes cardio after

    2 days HIIT based cardio

    2 off days

Not expecting anyone to have a MAGIC answer ...maybe just something that worked for others. I have went from a HUGE 42 pant to a still HUGE 38 pant........

I think he's talking less about spot reduction and more about working the transverse abdominus to counteract the distended belly. By strengthening the inner abdominal muscles, it'll tighten up the midsection and can pull the stomach inward. :x:

The magic answer is time my friend, time.

I went from 270lbs over 30% to 186 below 20% and it's still lowering

Just remember, it's possible to have a tire and be thin as well. Being thin doesn't mean you can't have a high bodyfat percentage.

I think this was the answer he was looking for above.

Exactly....I read about Zane and Arnold the Old Schoolers and how they had waists back then....... I was wondering if any implements them and see results.

Either way I guess they cant hurt so I will add them to the end of my lifting workouts 3x a week.

Congrats bro.... I use to be pretty healthy but the last 10 years I let myself go to shit.

I use to be 6'1 185.... when I got to 250 I started thinking about all the things that run in my family like Diabetes :noes: and said :fawk: this. It really comes down to realizing the only excuse for being fat is your a lazy fat ass.

So I am gonna man up...get fit using F & N and when I get to where I want I will post some photos and donate some money to the board :wavey:
