Been playing this recently. Million times better than the first one and I like how the cars handle.

It doesn't have a complicated system for setting up your suspension and gear ratios but it does have a simple one that works quite well and you can easily tell the differences you're making with how your car handles. Each car definably has a different feeling than another.

I'm playing the PC version with everything maxed as much as it'll go and it looks fantastic, using the xbox 360 controller as well. It doesn't handle like forza or gt4, the cars turn easily like you'd want them to without it being a pain in the ass to modulate your braking/throttle perfectly for even the simplest of corners. That said it does show in your lap times if you're careful but it's not as unforgiving as the driving simulators.

If you wreck straight into something you're out of the race, cars get damaged but you never have to pay for any repairs which is nice.

What I like most is how the game makes you feel. The other racers are all real rally drivers who will talk during the race, saying little things here and there. When you're done with a race and you've come in first place you'll usually get someone like Dave Mirra that says "Hey man you were untouchable in that last race!" Makes you feel good about yourself after spending 30 minutes to win a 3 minute race. I play on the hardest difficulty so I can get the most money per race, the easier difficulties are just too easy most of the time and the sense of accomplishment is nil.

Good game, been trying to find something that's not need for speed for a while now and it fills that empty space.

    It's a DX11 game? I didn't know that :o

Thankfully I have a 5770 and can utilize it

Runs perfect on my computer with just that card, 3gb ram, and a q6600 stock.

    Still loving this game

The graphics are amazing, I have everything on the highest like I said before and ran the benchmark, 33fps minimal 46fps average. Not bad for my computer I think.

I just like driving around in the environments. There aren't really that many tracks but it just doesn't get old to me.

dunno, I think I'd just buy a wired 360 one

I use the 360 gamepad and it works great, I can imagine it sucking an awful lot on a keyboard :o Just get one for like $20-30, I bougth the mad-catz at walmart and it's fine.
