    PROS:

I have an idea of the plot and visuals for the film and I can visualize it quite well
I'm adapting it from one of my short stories that I wrote a long time ago and have always wanted to turn into a cinematic type thing
I have the writing capability to write a good script

    CONS:

I'm not sure if my current video camera will do the trick, no matter how crafty I can get with equipment/editing
I have absolutely no directing/filming experience
I have no acting experience and I intend on playing at least one part in the film as well as directing
I don't have a whole ton of money to fund everything

    Basically...where do I start?

yardsale your help would be appreciated
