I just bought a brand new Toyota tacoma and the radio-ipod hookup is sucking and i dont like it. The stereo system that came with it doesnt come with an auxilary plug thing. How can I get one put in? Are there any cheaper or easier ways to connect and ipod thats better than the radio frequency things?

You can use a cassette adapter, or check the back of the head unit to see if there is an aux port behind it.

$80 and it works with the factory 2005+ Tacoma decks.

It will charge the ipod and let you control it with the head unit buttons, and steering wheel controls (if you have em).

You get the same quality as an AUX direct-in.

check your owners manual to see if you can change the AUX input level.
