The entire range is now well ahead of the v6 camry, and offers performance and fuel economy that truely is class leading.

Holden after years of shitty v6 engines back infront.

I wish the G8 was offered in that orange color, I might have gotten that instead of black.

And the worst part is the SIDI Commodore is said to be capable of 34 MPG.

Why, oh why, couldn't they have just kept this car coming to the US? Damn you Fritz Henderson!!

With any luck, he'll get run over by an Aveo :mamoru:

Too much bureaucracy in the way. Everyone needed to lay their hands on it and it would've gotten all fucked up in the process. We never could've gotten the Ute in America, it was just a crazy dream.

Is the 3.6 the same as the Cadillac 3.6?

    I'm just curious.

Yeah, it's the same global powertrain 3.6L SIDI as used in the CTS, the Buick LaCrosse, Acadia/Enclave, etc.

I'm not even talking about the ute, I'm saying ANY of the VE Commodores (as in G8 sedan in particular which would have made an awesome RWD Impala or Caprice.)
