Can anyone suggest a program or method to hook my Kodak P880 up to a PC and capture images directy into a program?

It would be ideal for setting up my product and macro shots if i can use the PC's screen instead of the little LCD.

    Thanks all. :x:

So theres no way to use a digital camera as a high-res webcam and capture photos directly into photoshop or something?

Ive seen it used whenever you get a photo-I.D taken. They take a pic of you and it shows directly onto the computer so they can instantly see its quality etc...

My main reason for wanting to do something like this is focusing and DoF stuff on the cameras LCD screen is difficult to make out. And often I dont know its out of focus untill its on the computer.

If im just talking out my arse then ill shut up.

I know you can do it with Nikon capture and
I think Canon has a program, but you probably need to use their cameras as the program has to recognize the cam

I can do it with my A620

Can control my camera via my PC.
Snap pictures and access the image.

It would be very nice for staged product shots...
Not very handy walking around with a laptop tho ;p
