I need to not be a cheap ass and actually get an Avatar cause I'm sure no one knows who I am (plea for attention right?), but whatever. Just had to take some quick pictures of my daughter's classroom's pet stuffed animal and came up with these.

Ya, the ambient light shot doesn't match, but whatev. Wanted to shoot wide (isn't so obvious since I cropped about 50% out).

Looks like you got lucky with a sunny day. We sure haven't had many of those until lately ;)

BTW like the shots. Lighting is soft and not harsh.

Thanks...she's awesome with poses and expressions, she does it all on her own (probably because she knows I'll make her otherwise). :)

Thanks man...ya, today and yesterday were awesome. 60s when it just snowed a few days ago, can't ask for better weather.

God, I love my new Softbox. :wiggle:

i would've let more ambient in to get rid of the shadow on the left side of her face

but other than that, nice work :)

Shot with a SB-900 in a 28" Westcott Apollo (the one I just barely ordered). It's so damn easy to use and CLS works flawlessy indoors if anyone was curious. Haven't had one misfire and the flash is pointed towards the back of the softbox and it's been 100% reliable thus far.

I appreciate it as usual Bob...and great advice. I was trying to black out the distracting backwall (had to clone some pictures of the wall/plug, etc), but I agree, the falloff is a bit harsh.

Thanks johan! She's such a ham and then after about 40 shots, she'll abruptly say, "I'm done daddy." And off she goes...

    Thanks! :wiggle:
