When I first played with Dashboard I was amazed that you couldn't stick widgets onto your desktop, you had to pull them into view then move them out of view.
Now with one of the tips on that site, you can pull widgets from the Dashboard and float them around your screen. Only trouble is, they float on top of all windows by default.
Which is not that big of a deal if you don't maximize your windows by default, or if you're one of the lucky few with 30" of pure pleasure.
So now I can see the weather at all times. Kinda nice.
i can't get the clear icons in the dock to work
i copy and pasted the code in terminal
i killed the dock and when it came back, everything looked like normal
I believe that setting only makes HIDDEN applications have a transparent icon in the dock.
This is why I still use Konfabulator (sadly now known as Yahoo Widget Engine)
wow. the screensaver on the desktop one is about the only one I hadn't heard of... and its great.
ima throw a shortcut on my dock
lol, I don't think there is a tip in the world of Mac that could impress you.
No I mean, you're knowledgable and seen everything
to be fair, those are old tips. that's probably why he's meh.
