I am not new to guns, just handguns & their inner workings. I will be using this gun to shoot @ the range, home defense(if need arises) & will eventually get my CCW to be able to carry loaded in the car without worries(won't be carrying it on my self, so bulk/concealment is not an issue). This model comes in 3 different versions:

    1. Manual Safety
    2. De-cocker
    3. Double Action Only

Can someone explain the difference to me and/or make me a reccomendation based upon my intended use?

1, is most likely the DC Safety version. The switch will drop the hammer and disengage the firing pin.

2, switch will only drop the hammer but not disengage the firing pin.

4, no Decocker at all. Gun will fire with a very long trigger pull, everytime.

I have a p89 with a Decocker Safety switch, and I like it.
