What are all the options anyway, ive been pondering using different types of wood than the standard 3/4 MDF, and what about using things such as realwood or instead of using carpet to cover the box use something like veneers?

Links/info? Anything about fiberglass sub box methods is especially helpful

I'll put any good information gathered in the sticky

3/4" void free marine grade birch plywood is actually better than 3/4" MDF, but costs significantly more.

Fiberglass is good for odd shapes.

I'll add more when I'm at home.
