an M4 is a military rifle, and is an NFA firearm. an AR15 is a semi automatic version of the M16 or M4. if you're talking about looks, the M4 is shorter with an extendable stock with a 14.5" barrel and a barrel cut for a grenade launcher. an M4gery, or semi auto gun that looks like an M4 is an AR15.

i dunno much about NFA weapons, and i dunno if you can buy an M4. i know you can buy an M16 and put M4 parts on it, so it'd basically look like an M4 and be full auto. most people have AR15s since they are easy to get. AR15s are the semi auto ones, and it is an AR15 no matter what it looks like.

    more dumb questions:

Are there easy ways to convert semi-auto AR15s to full-auto? (and is it illegal?)

Only easy and legal way to make an ar15 auto is with a transferable DIAS (drop in auto sear) and I think they go for about $8k. Are there other ways? Yes, are they legal? No

Some people make the cuts, some don't. IMHO, they make a decent amount of difference. Now, some people use it as a measuring stick for quality.

My new LMT has the cuts; BTW, it's da shit.

    Wanna see M4(geries)?

It'll be posted later. Sorry; no time now!

As far the phantom goes, I do like it. Reduces flash better than the A2.
