I can get a .357 sig barrel for my 2022 for about $180. Is there a huge difference in the 2 rounds? It looks like a lot of people like the .357 sig, but the ammo seems a lot more expensive. Someone school me please :)

the .357 is a .40 case necked down for a 9mm bullet. puts more power behind it. smaller projectile, higher speeds.

It's suppose to try to have the same ballistics as a 357magnum in a semi-auto pistol.

So in that case, it would use the same mag right? Seems like a good idea then. I'll have to see if they have a .357 Sig at one of the ranges.

.357 sig sounds like a .357magnum too. It inherited the loudness. :o
