diff between chin and pull up?

    Chin-up = palm of hand faces you
    Pull-up = palm of hand faces away

    so for the general pop, should chin or pulls be easier?

    I find chins easier personally

    chins let you incorporate your bi's more, so they're generally easier :p

    I can do 15 or so chins but only 10 pullups. I'm weak :wtc:

    thats 14.5 more chin-ups then i can do and 9.5 more pullups. :wtc:

    i've been doing reverse curls more, seems to help me with pull ups. chin ups are much easier for me though

    weighted pullups ftw. for the last 3 months or so, i've done all my pullup sets with added weight. This weekend, just for the hell of it i decided to see how many unweighted i could do at once - 18 wide grip, dead hang in between each. I think i was maybe doing 10 before i started adding weight.

    pull ups are hard as hell. i can do 5 on a good day :(

    Pull ups are one of my favorite exercises.

    I can do them with maybe 20 extra pounds. More than that and my chin aint gettin anywhere near the bar.
