what the fuck, they both look the same to me on sites
Chin-up = palm of hand faces you
Pull-up = palm of hand faces away
so for the general pop, should chin or pulls be easier?
I find chins easier personally
chins let you incorporate your bi's more, so they're generally easier
(I'm going to quote this just so it gets quoted again)
I can do 15 or so chins but only 10 pullups. I'm weak
thats 14.5 more chin-ups then i can do and 9.5 more pullups.
Im skinny as hell though. 130 for the lose.
i've been doing reverse curls more, seems to help me with pull ups. chin ups are much easier for me though
weighted pullups ftw. for the last 3 months or so, i've done all my pullup sets with added weight. This weekend, just for the hell of it i decided to see how many unweighted i could do at once - 18 wide grip, dead hang in between each. I think i was maybe doing 10 before i started adding weight.
pull ups are hard as hell. i can do 5 on a good day
Pull ups are one of my favorite exercises.
I can do them with maybe 20 extra pounds. More than that and my chin aint gettin anywhere near the bar.
