diesel in an XJ?

    I've found a couple 3.9liter cummins diesels for sale, both of them come with a GM transmission.

    I'm thinking of picking one of these up, because of the gas mileage, and how long they last. Now my question is what kind of transfer case do you think I'll need to get all of this to work? Do you think I'll have a lot of trouble fitting it in?

    Any input appreciated

    first off, what kind of transmission is it? that will help us out alot? newer, older? details.. if its like a 4L80E, u can practically mount anything to those..
