diesel back workout

    i'm doing back/bis today and want to mix up my workout for back....i usually do:

    seated high row
    lat pulldown
    vgrip pulldown
    straight arm pulldowns
    one arm row

    what's everyone elses back workout look like? what are some good supersets? i really want to rip the shit out of my back tonight...probably going to do a lot of negatives

    not a bad idea..im not too familiar with deadlifting and i suppose i should start doing it...im sure all the old people will clear out of my town gym too once i start doing that

    EDIT: Someone have a good link to a pic by pic or vid of good form for this workout?

    I've heard a few different opinions and shown a few different ways--even seen a vid or two..but want to see if there is a generic way to get the most out of it.

    im going to do all the exercises slower than usual...slow, hold then restart..want to really rip it

    really it's just funny that you even think it possible for a back workout to be "diesel" without including deadlifts

    pullups 4 sets
    deadlifts 5 sets (only 1-2 work sets)
    BB Row 3 x 10+
    Single-Arm Lat Pulldown 3 x 12+
    Face Pull 3 x 12+


    I also do a set of cable rows to failure during my chest workout because it feels good.... usually 20-30 reps for that set until I can't do any more.

    and vin diesel's back isnt all that impressive. i'd go for a schwarzenneger back workout or maybe a pudznowski back workout

    deadlift 6 sets (6,1,6,1,10,15)
    romanian deadlift 3x10
    lunge 3x10
    good morning 2x10
    lower body russian twist 2x10

    after that, i'm fuckin done for. lat work is done on a different day

    I do. Deads, then either
    GM's or RDL or stiff legged Db or BB deads
    back extensions or pull throughs
    abs

    I hit lats on military press day or chest day. on MP I do my pull ups and chest day I do my rows...I like it.q
