Did he cut wait or something? In UF1 he looked bigger and shorter. :dunno:

well if Diego fought Hughes, I could not imagine Diego being on top... Koscheck was able to take him down many times, and Hughes is just much better and stronger than him. In terms of subs, Diego probably has more knowledge of them, but doesn't look great from the bottom. Hughes would probably be able to beat him by decision.

“He (Gracie) told me one day a week in the gi, so I’m getting a gi and doing that one day a week from now on,” he smiles.

    interesting

People don't give diego enough credit

What more can you ask for at the moment, he's undefeated, beat down every single one of his opponents in the TUF. Broke the eye socket of gassaway, he eats healthily, trains really hard, always goes for the finish and the submission. His grappling is great, his wrestling is good, his striking is about par for the division.

Maybe if you actually read the interview you'd see that diego really isn't that bad, he is just really confident in himself and beleives that his destiny is beating matt hughes. I can't really see how that is different from every other fighter who says that they want to fight and beat Hughes.

Though he is an excellent grappler, I can't stand Sanchez. I was watching him on Spike tonight hoping & praying he'd lose. His opponent didn't look too impressive though. His whole attitude just bothers the hell out of me.
I would love to see Hughes pummel him.

    People hate Diego because...

    1. He talks too much after interviews. At least he's got something to say. There's more to MMA than just the fights. It's about their lives.
    2. He doesn't speak right. English is not his first language. That doesn't mean that he's stupid. I'm sure he can talk Spanish at 150mph. He seems very insightful and self aware.
    3. He thanks God. Why allow yourself to get so offended over something so silly? Have some self control :mamoru:

There's an interview with Koscheck on MMAFighting.com where he comments on Diego's views on Matt.

I agree with Koshcheck 100% on pretty much everything that he said even though I don't like Koshcheck much either.

For that dork to even put himself in GSP and Hughes' league blows my mind.

Koscheck is an idiot who first got his ass kicked by diego and lastly got ko'd in his last outing by drew fickett.

Lol at him hurting anyone, unless they feed him some can his ufc career is practically over.

yeah, if i was diego i would just accept that i will always be a distant number 4. Forget about dreams and aspirations, forget about training hard, forget about making the best of a great oppurtunity and just don't even bother getting out of bed in the morning. Why does he even bother.

If sherk loses to gsp at UFC 56(i cant call it either way) they should make him the new gate keeper for the 170 pound class. He would shut guys like diego up real quick.

sherk is anything but a gatekeeper

if he was a gatekeeper hardly anyone would get a title shot
