A&P Did some sunrise landscapes of Everglades National Park this morning

    Most of my stuff is nature related but this is my first time actually wading in the swamps to the cyprus caps in the wetlands. Scary shit when it's still dark in the morning and you're walking out in mud/water up to your knees hoping you don't step on a snake or alligator.

    D300s with a Tokina 11-16 and image blended.

    Thanks a lot guys!

    I'm going to get more into the swamp landscapes. I was with great photographer who specializes in swamp landscapes and I was lucky enough to have him show me the ropes of everglade landscape photography.

    I know a lot of people like number one but I hate how that branch is in the top right corner. Too much work to edit it out, plus, I guess it adds to the pic in a weird way.

    I didn't see any gators. This area is mostly knee deep water, the gators like deeper water. The biggest concern would be the Cottonmouth snake.

    did you use any filters to get the sun the way it is in the first pic?

    Lens?
    Aperture?
    Shutter speed?

    sorry your exif is not showing up.

    looks like you hdr'd it?

    tokina 11-16
    f16 iirc
    can't remember the shutter speeds, it is hdr'd.
