A&P Did some office/promotional shots for a friend today

    He just opened up an Optometry office and wanted shots to put on a flier he's sending out for his grand opening soon. The pics he took make him look terrible, so he called me to the rescue.

    Here's what the outcome was. Nothing spectacular, just some quick editing before I get started on the wedding from Saturday. That will be posted soon.

    too much of a catchlight in his eye, almost loose the entire iris/pupil area

    Yeah, i noticed this too, as well as the right side lighting on his face. Love the product and office shots though, although there looks to be a lot of dust on those horrible Prada sunglasses.

    more light on pic 3 :dunno: it seems a bit too dark.

    maybe its just me, but there seems to be some haloing around the lights in pic 1

    I disagree. I love the shallow dof. It shows that he carries an entire line-up of products but instead of crowding the shot with all of them in focus, your eye can easily pick out the details on the two or three that are in focus.

    agreed. and #1 needs to be taken for a higher angle IMO. That looks like a 3 year old took it.

    More floor space, less ceiling.

    i was using the 14-24 and needed it to be as level as possible. even in that pic, there's a good amount of distortion.

    Still looks good overall though..
