Did some crossfit this weekend down in Austin

    Warm-up
    15 squats x 3
    15 pushups x 3
    15 sit-ups x 3
    15 pullups x 3
    500 meter row x 1

    Workout
    Lunge down the gym and back with 45 pound plate overhead
    20 hand stand pushups
    33 wall balls w/40 pound ball
    33 box jumps
    Lunge down the gym and back with 45 pound plate overhead

    I got this workout done in 6 minutes and 8 seconds! Holy crap, I was pouring sweat!! My heart was racing like a mofo! The cool thing is that I DIDN'T NEED MY INHAILER!! Paleo and Bikram have alleviated all of my asthma and allergie symptoms!!

    Right now, I paid $300 to do the Bikram Challenge. You have to go 6 days per week for 8 weeks and if you do it, then you get 1 month free. If you fail, then you have to pay up some more cash for 2-1 month passes.

    And then following monday, going to Philippines for a few weeks and then back to San Jose for a week.:wiggle:

    I'm doing the crossfit on thursday evening it looks like. Otherwise I'm free.
    That'd be awesome. I usually workout at a 24hr Fitness a few blocks from my sister's place when I'm down there.

    I have been doing it for the past 3 weeks, but doing the modified rowing crossfit routines
    I have to say, you feel "better" overall in terms of usefullness on a daily basis
    I just hate the idea I am losing muscle the whole time... I told my buddy I would try it out with him for a few months
    I am not totally sold, but I could see doing it maybe twice a week

    pretty sure that would give him a heart attack. if he can do it with his car he probably would. he cannot walk and talk on the phone at the same time, ascend > 2 stories of stairs, gets cramps while on toilet, etc.
