Got all my BREN shit machined. Talk about hard metal. Carbide owns that shit though. LOTS of metal to remove.

    Completely machined my suomi receiver.

Got hole drilled for my mg34 trigger, probably test that bitch out this next weekend

got my sten barrel extension welded fully and smoothed down on the lathe.

it was a long day of standing up.

What all did you need to do to machine the receiver? I mean was there any angled cuts needed to be made or was it all easy to do?

So I guess it wouldnt be a project you could guide a novice through? :o

With kit prices for Suomis being dirt cheap Id like to give it a go. But at $200 to $300 a receiver theres no room for error

What machining experience have you had? I mean do you do it for a living? I have almost no machining experience whatsoever.

none really, a guy helped me too, really not bad, just have to listen to the metal and see if your rpm is right, pay attention to dimensions and remember to add and subtract the right numbers
