Buddy at work bought a 1976 Corvette. He helped me with the plumbing in my new condo, so I detailed his car in exchange.

    #80 - #16

The paint looks really cool depending on how the sunlight hits it. We pulled it out of the garage, and from most angles it looks GM red... Then from certain ones, it looks like this shade of orange that's on fire!

Excellent work! The paint looks very rich and wet.

Easy combo you picked to use too!

He was scared for me to use anything more abrasive (still has some swirls). And I love the look of #16... and I felt "an old school wax for an old school car". :big grin:

Nice job! :bigthumb: I love using #80 then #16 on most colors. It's such a universal combo.

However on red, I seem to prefer #26. I use it on my dad's 99 Olds Intrigue, his '64 Ford Fairlane Wagon, and a friends 2002 WRX, all three with red paint. It seems to make paint shine better than #16.

    Wow thats a beast!

Very tough, didnt like the 80's style vette, but that style and the post 1998 are definetly tough.
