I am going to get a new set of components and I am wondering what you would recommend:

    Boston Acoustics SX60
    or
    Diamond Audio D661a

I have the old like that the SX's are replacing and I like those but I have never heard a set of Diamonds.

What would you say between the two. Thanks

i've always liked boston acoustics products personally, so you know where my vote goes... but i suggest you take a cd you are very familar with, and listen to each.. then decide which sounds best to you.

The thing is I don't know somewhere by my school, UCF, that has Diamond. I know there is a SA nearby and they have Boston so I might go there and listen to the new lines if they have em out. Might spend some money and buy theh new Pro6 line.

If you can swing it, Boston Pro's are sexy as hell.

no prob. used to work for a diamond dealer, and i liked the components (D6). Never was impressed with the subs, but i listen to rap and talk radio mostly, so the subs didn't do it for me
