I'm going to be interviewing for a job with the DIA (student currently, so its an entry level internship type job).
Any advice for dealing with a military/intelligence interview?
I've done research on them including their purpose and directives, goals and such.
How much history/factual knowledge of the Middle Eastern and otherwise threats/threat(s) history(ies) do I need to go into the interview with?

Be prepared to wait a long time.

    Their interviews last a while.

Which position are you trying to go for?

    Analyst?

Applying for Intelligence Analyst and Executive Assistant positions.
Exec Assis. Is to someone fairly high up, I believe she's the Assistant Deputy Director.
Do you mean wait long for a reply? Or wait long to get an interview? Waiting long to get one isn't hard, they schedule them in advance on a timeslot basis here.

Why? It's like applying for any DoD GS job.

    Is that a joke position?
I thought it would be worth the most as far as connections and references go.
I'd be making calls/emails for her and placing appointments/all engagements would go through me. Also, it entails accompanying her on all trips to said engagements.
I'd be bound to meet people/experience things not typically seen/heard by most interns no?
