I just got back from my gym and when I walked in I saw this HUGE black guy working out and just talking to various people at the gym. I didn't really think much of it, other than the fact that this was the biggest person I have ever seen in real life before, he was giagantonormous it was insane and he was wearing this muscle shirt with all sorts of nutrition company logos and the whole time he was eating some sort of meat out of tinfoil so I figured he must have been some sort of body builder, but I didn't think he was anything special or anything.

As I was leaving the gym one of the guys at the front desk goes "so you know who that is, right?" and I reply saying that I have no idea, and he tells me that it's Dexter Jackson and he finished in 4th place at Mr. Olympia and he's been on the cover of all sorts of magazines and stuff and this dude was famous :eek3:. Then he called him over and told him how i've lost over 50 pounds and Dexter said "good job man, keep up the good work" so that was pretty fucking cool :bigthumb:.

That's awesome. And to think he's considered one of the smaller bodybuilders
    at 5'6" 225 contest condition.

I don't even follow body building competitions or anything, the only guys i've ever heard of are Ahnold and Ronnie Coleman, so I had no idea who Dexter Jackson was, but once I found out I was star struck :bigthumb:. It was funny, the gym was pretty packed and everywhere that he walked people would just stare at him and you could tell he was enjoying it, haha. The guy at the front desk said that right now he was actually at his smaller point of the year because it was only a few weeks after Mr. Olympia and I guess after competitions they get smaller or something? But he seemed pretty huge to me. You always see these ripped and shredded guys in pics in magazines and whatnot and it doesn't seem like that big of a deal (at least to me) but once you see them in person you can really appreciate it and you realize how impressive they really are.

He wasn't working out (at least when I was there), he was just walking around talking to people and the staff at the gym the whole time.

Alot of them take a good bit of time off after the olympia, especially since they didn't do the grand prix this year.

He is taking this year off because he felt it would give him more down time to improve for next year.

That, and the judging at the O is a joke. Also apparently the new proposed rules as far as gut go, will start taking effects soon. So hopefully Dexter starts taking more #1 spots. Not only does he have size, but how symetrical he is is pretty much impossible to acheive.

He was like 55-60 years old and in decent shape, he looked like he might have been broly when he was younger.
