So I here about this developer connection through apple where a student pays $99.99 and he/she gets a hardware discount. I was going to purchase this happy shit if it were worth it...Does anyone know what the cost of a MacBook Pro would be?!?

Great program. Just keep in mind that you only get one system at that price. There are a couple better deals available but that one is about as good as it gets for the general buyer.

If you could use anyone's student/educator discount and you're not buying a top of the line pro then it's not worth it. It's hard to compete with 100-200 off, a free ipod, and free printer.

you'll probably only save 100-200 on a laptop, i'd save this one time discount for when you can really save :coold:
