I have a hood which i want to swap with my CF one during the winter months, but it has this cloudy appearance over a small portion. It seems that whomever detailed this hood went a little overboard with the buffer and might have in fact caused this fogginess. Unfortunately no pics as it is dark out now and the hood is on the car.

Can this be removed by a professional detailer? It's a black hood if it matters.

No idea with out a pic. It could just be compounding haze or it could be that they burned the clear coat down. When you can get a picture post it up and we can help you from there.

Also, dude, winter is like 75 days or less from being over. Whats the point in doing it now?
