I'd expect MUCH better on an $80,000 car. Was it in an accident?

:dunno: It doesn't look noticable like that in person. Maybe the way I took the picture.

Maybe it's from the hydrochloric acid I spilled on the side?

I've used #82/VM/EX-P on numerous occasions now, a truly excellent combination! Your car looks really good and really shows how clear looking EX-P is. Best way I have found to describe the look is 'dipped in salad oil'.

Not much you can do about the orange peel unless you want to wetsand and rotary buff out your whole car, it really isn't any worse than other BMWs or Mercedes I see. Hell, even the Rolls Royce Phantom I detail has some orange peel.

Thanks Scott. Would you suggest applying wax over the EX-P, or should the EX-P stand up well enough on its own?

EX-P is a pretty durable sealant, at least based on a 2 month window of observation. Still holding up very nicely! If I was to top EX-P (and haven't yet because I like the look of it on its own), I would use a similarly clear product, like Meguiars #16 Pro Paste Wax (hella durable), Poorboy's Natty Paste Wax or S100.

Wow! Nice job. Juding by the size of those arms, you did everything by hand and not a PC? Where in East Bay are you?
