This vehicle was purchased last night. It still had the plastic in the floors! The Hummer I did last week got traded in for this jewel. She immediately wanted me to take and give the full pamplered treatment.
    Here's the process....
    DP's Mild Swirl Eliminator
(EDGE 2000 Green Med. Cut Pad)

    DP's Final Finishing Polish
    (EDGE 2000 Orange Polishing Pad)

    DP's Max Wax
(Applied and removed by hand...2 coats)

Let this be my full DP (Detailer's Pride) review. I've been using Max Wax with great results and the rest of the line up proves the same. DP's MSE was easy to use and removed the fine towelling swirls left by the dealer. Very minimal dusting and a little goes a long way. Next, DP's FFP, gave the finish nice depth and glow. The customer told me she didn't even know it was a metallic paint! Finished it off with 2 nice coats of the Max Wax. Once again, I know why this is my new go-to wax.
In all, I was very pleased with the DP line.

When I first saw it, I thought maroon. As I polished it, I started seeing lots of orange and rust colors. I like this color. Can't wait to see it tomorrow after all has cured.
    Again, mostly metallic orange now.

I can't even immagine what the interior full of nice, freshly conditioned king ranch leather smelled like

    Smells like a catcher's mitt...or a dominatrix's basement. :noes:

    Excellent as always, Justin. :)

HEY - That's my truck! Seriously, I just bought one 2 weeks ago, except it is the Dark Stone Metallic. I'm planning a good detail next week and will take pics to compare. We're in monsoon (i.e. uber-stormy) weather this week, so I'll wait a few days.

Scott, you're dead right - it smells like a catcher's mitt and feels great!! I loved the air conditioned seats while driving through the 121 degree Mojave desert last week!

    Air Conditioned Seats?

Is it only the King Ranch that Ford does that on?

I couldn't remember how we bought them, so I googled it and it seems they are just an Expedition option, not specific to any type of Expedition (Limited, XLT, King Ranch, etc).

"Expedition optional equipment includes: PowerFold™ third-row seat, AdvanceTrac® with RSC, four-corner load-leveling air suspension, limited-slip axle, power moonroof, Safety Canopy, Reverse Sensing System, in-dash navigation, heavy-duty trailer tow package, climate-controlled seats, second row captain's chairs, DVD rear-seat entertainment system with wireless headphones and AM/FM premium in-dash six-CD audio system."

    from here: http://www.ford-trucks.com/specs/2006/2006_ford_expedition.html

    Hope that helps! :bigthumb:
