Ok, so I've been practicing on my truck, the wife's car, and my friend's car. So here's is the results of my very first paying customer! Friend of the wife's so I only charged $60.

    Process:
Wash w/Simoniz Car Wash (Stuff sucks, was out of ONR)
    Clay: Clay Magic
Polish: Optimum Polish on Wolfgang Orange light cut pad PC on 5.5
Werkstatt Prime on LC CCS White polishing pad PC on 5 (x2)
    Werkstatt Acrylic Jett (x2)

    Engine Bay:
    Castrol Super Clean
    Armor All Tire Foam

    Wheels:
    S100
Black Magic Silicone based tire wet

    Interior:
    Quick vacuum
    Megs Interior Detailer
    Woolite/Water wipe down on leather
    Megs Leather conditioner
Really the interior was already clean, so I didn't bother with before/after shots.

    And for your viewing pleasure...

It's hard to tell the before condition of the paint from the pics but the after looks great. and yes $60 is reallllly cheap for what you did to the car. good job!

you would be suprised at what some of the "detailers" around here charge. a couple years ago while I was at work one of my co-workers had a detailer come work on his car during the day. I went to check out the car and while I was walking up to it I was impressed, then I got close and saw tons of swirls all over. the guy basically just washed the car and then applied a ton of glaze and tire shine to give the car a shiny look. charged my co-worker $120!

Should have charged $150-175 at least.

Looks really good though, Prime and AJ ought to give several months protection too.

I already have her signed up as a repeat customer. Told her every two weeks I'd do an ONR wash, redress the tires, and keep the interior looking good. For $30. Now if I could get a few more lined up......

The paint was in pretty good shape. There's a ding on the edge of the hood that has a scratch and some rust, but not a whole lot I can do about that. Otherwise it was just really filthy. We're talking about a car that has been washed TWICE since purchase in '05!

It's a nice one, fully loaded too. Only problem is that it feels like you're driving a school bus. Very neutral steering feel to it.

my mom has a pilot, it has a very tall feeling to it imo. wide also, i look to the passenger seat when nobodys in it and it feels so far away. Has 115k miles on it though and no problems.
