I just found this thing and since my Palm refuses to boot up I decided to try this. It hasn't been used since 2002 and I can't find the install disk. I checked the compaq/hp site and can't find what Im looking for, can anyone help me?

no... If you install activesync properly, and then do a hard-reset on the PDA (lose all your data there) then activesync should walk you through creating a partnership with the device. A friend just gave me a siemens pda-phone, so I just went through this 2 days ago, myself.
