    Just thought I would share the news on this. This is a great way for serious designers to get an idea of what their site will look like on Linux if they do not have access to a box with it installed.

    Enter Knoppix, the live linux CD. This lets you boot Linux from a CD. However, that requires a full system restart. Insted, someone has put together a disto using the QEMU emulator that will autorun on your windows install.

    Now, I won't pretend it's anything but damn slow. After all, you're emulating a program held entirely on a CD. If you're after speed and functionality, you'll need to install a real version (or at the very least, boot from the CD). This is perfect though, for those who are just trying to check their sites/work in a browser they may not have access to.
