Yeah just what i want protecting me
How come I keep reading about Glocks accidently discharging? Should I be worried, or is it just idiots who don't handle thier firearms properly? Sorry for hijacking the thread...
God damn it. I live around there too.
Guns dont shoot by themselves
Some people aren't professional enough to posses a glock.
There is no such thing as an accidental discharge, any discharge that is unintentional is directly due to some form of negligence by the operator. The ONLY way a Glock is going to fire is by pulling the trigger, PERIOD. Anyone who has a negligent discharge should lose their 2A rights.
dumbass probably tried to hang it on the hook on the stall door and pulled the trigger I've heard of cops doing that before.

Don't he know to keep his hand off the trigger till he is ready to shoot?
Maybe the safety was off and the hammer was cocked and the hammer somehow got pushed forward hard, causing the gun to discharge?
no external safety on a glock! err... and no hammer either. But i'm sure he somehow pulled the trigger.
edit: oh, unless you were kidding, then:
It's funny how guns always seem to "accidentally" go off when cops go to the bathroom.
Why are they fingerfucking their gun in the shitter? Leave it in the holster, brainiac.
They only discharge when the trigger is pulled.. Its a hard concept for some people to understand.. FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER!
