GUN dented cases?

    In the box of 500 round of .223 that I got, I have noticed that some of the cases have dents in the side of them. I haven't shot any of them yet, because I have no idea if it is even safe to do so. Are they ok to shoot, and if not, is there some way to fix them? Thanks for the help :o

    small dents shouldn't be a problem

    well, Ill try and get a picture later, since I dont know if these are small or not.

    unless they are cut from the dent, you can probably shoot them. THe dent will push out when you fire it.

    Is this reloaded ammo? If so, its most probably from the ejector. I notuced that the ejector on my AR dents like every casing a little bit

    that is an example of what I am talking about. Also, there is a similar (smaller) dent on the other side of the case.

    It is not reloaded ammo.

    EDIT: AFAIK, out of the 500 round case, only 1 of them is like this.

    shoot it. if you dont feel comfortable, throw it away. Its only a few cents.
