OK I have a few issues with the case design here. I live in a small apartment and my computer sits right next to my bed. I leave it on a lot at night and the LEDs in front are basically like a flashlight sitting right next to my bed. Is there any way to disable these? I know on the newer 700s you can change the colors of the LEDs but mine is about a year old so its totally outdated and missed out on this feature...(but still is there a damn OFF option?)

Long story short...Is there any way to disable these LEDs on the Dell XPS 700 case?

    Thanks :x:

Edit: Here is a picture of the case so you can get a good idea of the LEDs im talkin about. They are the 4 above the cd drive and 4 below the usb ports. Thanks

Look for a BIOS update, to start with. Failing that, unplug the power connector that runs the LEDs.

What the hell? The power switch is that fragile?

Quality has NEVER coincided to sales figures. The average consumer is STUPID, price-driven, and impressed with shiny packages and flashing lights.

It's almost like Dell's business model is tailored to target their customer base!

    Shocking.
