With the Nomad, you can EASILY replace the battery when it wears out in 9 months. It's 40 bucks on thier website. pop open the cover by pressing a button. old battery drops out, new battery drops in. You are done.

Ipod.. send it to apple and for 100 bucks they will replace the battery.

DJ is cheaper and does the exact same thing, it might not be as pleasing or "cool." But you are not the idiot either for paying so much.

with the Nomad you can get a program called Notmad exlporer, which will allow you to use the nomad exactly like a removable HD.

no..theres a shit load of programs out there...
    like ephpod
and theres even one program that you run from the ipod itself that lets you transfer songs from your computer or any other computer at that without even installing a program

    find em all here
    http://www.ipodlounge.com/downloads_windows.php

as for the ipod battery there's plenty of sites you can order a 40-50 dollar battery and they give you the tools to do it yourself if you ever wanted to replace your out of warranty battery

I have one. The battery life is AWESOME. It will easily play for 12 hours on a single charge. And you can get a 30GB nomad for the same price as a 20GB iPod.

    1. unless you buy the 2 yr warranty the waranty is already over and you can do whatever you want with your ipod that's out of warranty....if it's still under warranty it's as simple as a phone call and they'll replace it for you for 0-50 bux depending on the situation.

    2. most of the places that offer battery replacements online will warranty their service if you opt to send it in to have THEM do it for you

either way read my original post I SAID OUT OF WARRANTY IPOD

Ipod is shit, I am guessing the same people who say an Ipod is better are also voting for Bush.
