That is the type of machine I have.

    It currently has a 2.8 ghz P4 w/ a 533 FSB

I am thinking about upgrading that to a 3.4 800 FSB

According to Dell's webpage, several different configurations came out for this machine and one of them included a 3.4 800FSB.

Having said that, do you guys think I could swap out the 2.8 / 533 for a 3.4 / 800.

I have the most current BIOS Flash.

I bet they use a different motherboard for each one of those chips but i could be wrong.

Yea I was thinking the same. Do you know which mobo you're working off of?

Reading the link you gave it sounds like it would work.
