price no object
Price no object?
You are fucking retarded.
Defender, no question. I've always loved those.
ok... Rubicon vs D90
D90 still costs more, not to mention it will be 5 years old and have however many miles.
defender. any day of the week and twice on sundays. better looking, more solid, more fun to drive
Who said you have to buy it in the States? You can still get a new Defender from the UK, I think.
And you won't be able to use a new one in the States.
you can import the TD5
Ford is thinking of bringing the D90 back to North America.
I was thinking of just hypothetical situations. Personally, I'd still take an older Defender over a new Jeep. I love Jeeps, but I've always had a thing for Defenders.
my buddy has always wanted one.. he'd be stoked!
one is on the campus of UVA
Defender has got to be teh ugliest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life, christ Squeezer > defender
Rather have the D90 - too many fratboys drive TJs.
I think they would probably fare equally.
Price no object:
M5 or Protege 5?
A new one?
The Heep would need a easy $15k in aftermarket parts to compete with a D90
I have, or never will see any "stock" Heep on any trail over a 3+ in my entire life...
The ONLY reason they are popular is because of the aftermarket support. Stock heeps suck to wheel in.
I'd rather look like a rich fratboy - than a middle class one.
And i wouldn't get yellow.
stock to stock? If so who the fuck would take something with open diffs over something with air lockers. anyone who did say that I would call them an idiot and it would straight up show they don't know one damn thing about offroading.
I say they'd fare about the same in most offroad applications.
