For those who have a 1and1 server, do they monitor their servers tightly? Im thinking of using one as a seed box.

I dont think so but usually U.S. providers catch torrents pretty fast. Might try a netherland provider they dont have as strict rules on torrents

Care to share? I know a lot of people who do get servers for torrenting but they loose it eventually, hence why I don't recommend it but to each their own.

I was at LayeredTech for a more than a year running TorrentFlux. They never cared at all. I got DMCA notices three times through them and each time after I removed the file they didn't care at all. They never asked me to stop doing it.

I only got notices because I was downloading from public trackers. Never had a problem with bitmetv, hdbits, or oink.

If you're on a private tracker, you'll probably never get caught. Especially the more private/scene-y ones like SCT, FTN, etc.

I've had/run seed boxes for people at LayeredTech, The Planet, Dinix/WebHostPlus [Since defunct], Ezzi, Managed.com, HiVelocity, and several other places.
